Each of the prints also comes with an excerpt from Robert’s upcoming novel The Faerie Diaries in which Sir Edmund Roberts describes in his journal the various faerie sightings that he encounters. Thus, you will receive the page from the novel describing the particular event in which the character in the print is sighted. The following is a hint of what was written for this print:
Their fourth evening, the naturalist and his companion enjoying an after dinner drink as they stared into the campfire, Sir Edmund heard a small rustling at his feet. He looked down slowly and beheld his tenth faerie, she standing under the cover of a broad leaf and staring into the guttering fire. Try as he may the naturalist could not get the attention of Lady S. for she was well into a story concerning a young gentleman she had known who went on to be the ambassador of Paris, married a rather tawdry little thing far below his station, had an obscenely large family and at last succumbed to night miasmas. “You saw no such thing,” was her reaction to Sir Edmund’s later description.
There are many more faeries, sea maidens (mermaids), sea baby, pirates and sea masters prints available. Different characters and print sizes. Collect the series!
