Sir Edmund Roberts, gentleman naturalist and faerie aficionado, took his quest afield in the company of the mysterious Lady S. To Mongolia they ventured and in the high steppes encountered their fifth faerie. As Sir Edmund was the first to spy her, the rights of discovery were his. Lady S. did however provide him with a running commentary throughout, her deep knowledge of science, the arts, and the flora and fauna of the world in many ways making her his intellectual superior, though it was he who claimed the titles of naturalist and scholar. They were observing in silence when Lady S. began whispering, Tendu Derriere! Tendu Derriere! To which Sir Edmund muttered, “Very nice, indeed,” and then gave his companion a puzzled look. Lady S. Continued to watch in awe as one of the more significant artistic discoveries of the era was forming for her. At last she whispered, Why Sir Edmund, there can be no drought that Faeries are proficient in the art of Ballet!” In fact, she went on to postulate that ballet was a gift from the faeries. “There is no heavenly way the reverse could be true!” she exclaimed.
There are many more faeries, sea maidens (mermaids), sea baby, pirates and sea masters prints available. Different characters and print sizes. Collect the series!
